THE APPEARANCE
Standing at five foot seven and a half inches, Lexi is more leg then anything else - except for maybe her hair, which when completely straight, ends at just above her derriere. She has a dainty athletic build, and her skin is a honey gold tan, and she's never had any acne or blemishes in her life. Her hair is a golden blonde, almost as if the hair itself is spun gold, the only part of it that is cut is her bang, which sweeps to the side of her forehead in a newer fashion. Her eyes are a honey brown with flecks of gold all through them, and framed in long, thick, dark lashes that are so pretty, she doesn't need to enhance them in any way. Her lips are quite perfect for her full face, and her teeth are whiter then snow. As for her style, she likes to try whatever's in style, though always goes back to dark wash skinny jeans, converse/boots, t-shirts and her ever-faithful leather jacket.
THE PERSONALITY
In her early days - as a human - Lexi was quite restrained and never said a word in public that made her stick out more then anyone else. The quiet little bookworm who was an amazing beauty and never saw herself the way others - particularly men - saw her. Inside, however, she was itching to have intelligent discussions with her fathers friends, show them how much she really did know. But in her times, it wasn't something that a woman could do. When she became a vampire, she became the person she is today.
Fun loving, passionate, intelligent, sincere, occasionally sarcastic, extremely stubborn. She's all about relaxing and having a good time, but she rules her state with a rule of absolutely no bullshit. She won't let any rule-breaking pass her without the traitor being punished somehow. She gets along really well with humans, and is all for living with them peacefully. Her strengths lie in hand to hand combat, aka swordfighting etc, as well as archery and the ever flattering form of flirting. As for her weaknesses, she has a soft heart and more often then not finds it hard to punish the vampires in her state, though she always does. The only thing she fears is the sun, and the true death. Her habits happen to be acting as human as she possibly can, fidgeting and biting her lip and twirling the ends of her hair just happen to be the tip of the ice-burg.
THE HISTORY
BIRTH PLACE: Paris, France.
CHANGED: 1682.
Born in the sixteen sixties to a Noelle and Elijah, Lexi was the oldest of the five children, with two younger brothers and sisters, she had to be the perfect role model for her sisters, and chase her brothers around to try and keep them clean from mud and dirt. In her early years, her childhood was very perfect, she never wanted for anything but more books, and wanted more siblings when she became an older sister to Jeraud, getting her wish when along came Coraline and Castiel, twins, and then Fleur, the youngest. They all grew up very close knit, and her family, though not as rich as royals, were high up there on the list, and far from homeless. Lexi, though a big help to her mother with her siblings, was often found reading a book anywhere she went. Which, at seventeen, was what drew Raphael to her in the first place. He'd been alone for quite some time, nearly a thousand years before he took interest in Lexi and watched her for two years, showing off his status and riches at the time, making his want to marry the girl until, finally, Lexi's parents planned her marriage to the man who seemed to never get older in appearance.
Once married to Raphael Deveraux, he brought her around the world to places she'd only ever read about, and for her last year as a human, Lexi was extremely happy. But, a few weeks after her twentieth birthday, she was in an unimaginable pain. She'd been sent word that both her parents, as well as her four siblings, had been murdered on their way to visit her. Raphael, not being able to bear the thought of losing his only companion now, decided to change her. Of course, he had explained to her what he was doing as he drained the blood out of her body until she was just at the brink of death, her eyes seeing what he couldn't as she lay there, almost dead but not completely, as he force-fed her his blood. Her family surrounded her in a loving embrace, though now Lexi isn't quite sure whether or not she was hallucinating. Where she had felt emotional pain the day of her near-death experience, Lexi now felt a physical pain that couldn't be matched by any other she'd felt, and as Raphael lay there with her in his arms, she slowly died, her body making the changes only others in her position - or under different circumstances - before, had gone through.
Not four days later, Alexandria Marie Cahors-Deveraux was re-born as Lexi Marie Deveraux. She was stronger, faster, and not delicate in the least, save for her round, full face, and soft looking skin. One thing she knew of for sure was that she was thirsty, and rightly so. Raphael, with a diet of only the lowest humans or humans that were killers, or nearly dead already, didn't have to teach Lexi very much discipline or restraint to her natural instincts, as she didn't want to take someones life like the murderers of her family did. Which they'd both tracked down until the very last was taken care of. In the late eighteen hundreds, when settlers started going across the sea to USA to move, Lexi and Raphael settled below decks with Renata, a girl who was fleeing Italy from her abusive father and trying to make a new life for herself. There, she and Lexi became very good friends, even so far as for Lexi to adopt her as a sister, and, when they docked into USA under the cover of the night, Raphael brought Renata to their house - which he'd pre-bought before even thinking about actually moving there three months before they set foot on the boat - and turned her as well, succumbing to the pleading from Lexi.
The girls, though completely opposites in looks, with Lexi being blonde, and Renata being dark haired, passed as sisters with their obvious bond, the story being that Renata was Raphael's sister, and Raphael's story being that he was orphaned at a young age with all the riches and care he could have gotten. There, they'd had the perfect life, using the excuse that they all were allergic to things found in daylight to not come outside, and as gullible as the rest of the town was, they believed it. One night, however, Raphael had been at a bar and was outed by a human for what he was, and had to murder anyone that was in the bar, or just outside it, setting it on fire so that everything was burned and no one would be able to see that he wasn't there. Unable to forgive himself for his actions - though he did what he did to protect Lexi and Renata - he stay outside of their home and burned in the sunlight, being buried by the two as soon as the sun went down, taking their coach to a place closer to Canada.
There the two lived - and since blood donations started, Lexi started drinking that instead - always as fledglings up until Nineteen Ninety Two, where Lexi was nominated as the New Master when one went crazy and met the true death. There, she's lived in Massachusetts since, moving on just to Salem in the past year.
