[style=font-family: arial; font-size: 36px; text-shadow: 0px 2px 3px #666; color: #cccccc;]NO BIG DEAL - - - I've been around this block before She sat at a desk, tapping her nails on the fine wood over and over. The vampire would much rather go hunting than be stuck up inside and finishing up paperwork because idiots now a days didn't know they're heads from they're asses when it came to anything important. The sun had set not more than a few hours ago, the night was still young and had plenty in store for her. Olivia couldn't decide if it was the clients she had to deal with that were worse, or the fact that she was stuck doing the work they didn't know how to do. Her co-workers were no better, though she didn't really get to see them much since she worked the second shift, long after they had packed up and gone home to eat some boring ass dinner, talking about they're boring job. She smirked at the thought of them leaving out the part about how they suck at they're job. She scoffed lightly and then rolled her eyes, humans.
Faelben happened to suite the brunette vampire better than she could have ever hoped for. It distracted her from her past, not to mention even at night it was warm and humid, which she liked. The feeling of being so cold never really took to her liking, she was lively, and planned on staying that way in at least some aspects. So, there was mostly old retired people and little kids running around Florida, by the time Olivia got out, the boring ones had gone to sleep for the night, and the pretty people of the night life had shown up. Hardly wearing shit and partying all night was exactly what Olivia liked to feed on. She was a cat playing with her mice though, partying, clubbing until she found good use for her prey.
The thought of the young blonde she had two last week made her drag her tongue over her teeth. Her pupils dilated and she let a low rumbling growl escape her lips, it came out in an almost purr. Before she knew it, she sped through the fucked up paper work and she was slipping her purse over her shoulder and leaving her office, her heels clicking on the floor as she swayed her hips out the door, twirling her keys around her finger.
A sleek black dodge avenger slid into a parking garage no more than two blocks from the local club called The Viper. The soft purr of the engine was cut and Olivia stepped from the vehicle, one long leg extending out of the car, her high heels clicking on the pavement as she walked away. Her outfit hugged close to her perfect, dead body. The little Italian woman with the gorgeous body was not someone to fool around with, in more ways than one. Her slim curls bounced as she strode toward the club, purposefully parking farther away so the human could see her swaying her way toward the club, in hopes of luring tempting bait inside.
She knew what kind of affect she had on people, it was only normal for a vampire. Some people liked to be bitten, freak or not, Olivia had to eat. She walked by with a smirk on her face as two men stopped to stare, one tripping on the curb in his distraction. Placing a hand on her hip, Olivia rounded the corner, almost too distracted in her ways that she bumped into someone cutting the corner too close himself.
The vampire expected whoever was on the other end to be pushed back, thinking it was a human. Instead she stumbled and was forced to step back herself, her hazel eyes seeming to catch fire at the same time as radiate shock. Her bangs fell into her eyes slightly as she stared at the beast of a man in front of her. She had to look up slightly and her lips parted softly, as her prowling cat demeanor completely melted. Her voice came out an almost whisper, her accent heavy at her sudden recalling of the past. "Victor..." She said in a hushed tone, staring at him in disbelief.

Progeny never truly did escape the maker. Well. He would know. Victor twice visited the kiss of death upon another being; both happened to be in dire need and both cases had reinforced his views that humankind lacked respect for even their own. Their planning was so notoriously short term that, given the circumstances, Victor would put them all under court restraint. He had grown up in a time of horse drawn carriages and ships propelled by pieces of cloth, a time of rapiers and flintlock pistols. Now humanity had evolved into a power that could potentially turn continents to dust and devour a planet in centuries. Unlike the brunt of his livestock, however, Victor was a patient man. His plans and schemes unraveled over decades, centuries even. He wasn't prone to petty opportunism or risk taking.
Becoming king was little more than a slight stepping stone along the way and Emily knew it. Victor was no politician. In the end it was about the oil and how to keep a better grip on it. He felt no connection to Texas or Lareth and his settling down there was little more than the means to an end. Though his motivations might seem grim, not even he knew of them. As if guided by the unseen he did as he did each night. It worked. And as the Georgian farmer often said, 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'. In the end he would pack up shop and move elsewhere. Maybe Hong Kong or Singapore; where there was money to be made, there was Victor.
Standing over the hood of his own Bentley Continental, he surveyed the garage. He could see where others could not, a slight detail he truly did enjoy. Humans were such weak, petty little thing. Not at first of course, but if one were to give it a few centuries and one would come to view them with little more than disgust. They grew more bothersome and dangerous with every passing year. Slowly he made to leave the parking garage. Cutting a close corner as he often did, hoping to cause annoyance to someone on the other end, Victor bumped into someone all too familiar. "Olivia!" he retorted, with slight excitement. It wouldn't be right for him to come off as surprised, would it now? words (388!) tags (Emily!) muse (Quite good!) comments (Its terrible, but I felt you deserves a post! [style=font-family: arial; font-size: 36px; text-shadow: 0px 2px 3px #666; color: #cccccc;]NO BIG DEAL - - - I've been around this block before The young vampire had this feeling that he would have disregarded her. Tossed her aside like she felt she had been when she met his other half. A certain gleam caught her pretty little eyes when he said her name with a tone she didn't expect. Out of all the males Olivia had ever been around, he was the only one she was... submissive to. After being changed, Olivia had gone from a kitten to a full out tiger. She took charge of her men, throwing them around like her prey. Playing around before she got down to it and fed. She could only look into his eyes for a moment before looking away with a shy look. Everything about this seemed wrong to her. She wasn't her vampire self around this man. She wanted to be, but it wasn't right. It wasn't... possible.
She stumbled over what else to say to him, the man she hadn't seen in years and tried to forget about. He was her creator though, and it was almost impossible to forget about him completely. Parting her lips, Olivia then smiled the slightest bit. She was overall, very happy to see him once more. "You haven't changed one bit." She said, her eyes finally reaching his face. If she'd been alive a blush would be creeping over her face. A very strong flutter filled her lower half, and she bit her lip slightly. He was still the same, and probably still with Emily.
Flashbacks came to her, how different he had been to her than those men that had killed her. How soft, yet how strong he felt against her. She hated being changed, but he was there for her. She didn't know whether that was the reason why she liked him so much, or if it was for a different reason. Pushing her brown curls behind her, Olivia took in a deep breath, drinking him in once more. "Uhhh... I honestly didn't expect to see you for a long time... and defiantly not down here.." She said, gaining back her fiercer tone, but she still felt smaller inside now. Was it his presence? It left her almost shaking in her heels.
Her hazel eyes averted from her master for a moment to look down the street toward the club. She could feel the slight vibration from the music all the way down the block, it wouldn't be long till her hunger would kick in full force. As much as it took to get away from Victor, she suddenly didn't want to leave his side... not yet at least. "May I ask why your here, along?" She added in afterward with a perfectly innocent tone, cocking her head slightly to the side like a curious child. Her lips parted slightly and her eyes held a slightly seductive look. His little fledgling had grown up a lot since she'd run off. And for once she'd admit she was hungry for more than just humans tonight.

"Now, if only I could say the same for you." Victor teased, observing his progeny as he had done so often in the past. If one failed to count his children, Olivia sure was his finest work. She hadn't changed in appearance, but he was sure that the Olivia he met today differed greatly from the Olivia he knew a hundred years ago. The years had a way of doing that and, where humans would not see each other for a few years at most, vampires were, if patient, able to resuscitate a connection even after centuries of being absent from the other's sides. "You look stunning as ever, my love." he complimented. She had possessed great beauty before joining the ranks of the undead and it had not at all diminished over time. If there was a god, surely he would consider her his finest work.
"I fear that I must confess to not having expected this, either." he admitted, his usual arrogance nullified. Victor didn't like surprises much as he had no control over them and the surprises he usually met did have a tendency to blow up during a routine search of the package. Though a maker usually knew the location of his progeny, yet their years apart had greatly damaged his ability to locate her in any way. His vision had blurred over time. "It's a pleasant surprise, though!" he added with glee, realizing he might've come off a slight bit cold. "It's all about business, I'm afraid, there hasn't been much time for idle pleasantries since you left." Victor admitted, eyes focused firmly on his progeny. A parking garage wasn't exactly the scene he had imagined for a reunion but, so far, it was working out fabulously

[style=font-family: arial; font-size: 36px; text-shadow: 0px 2px 3px #666; color: #cccccc;]NO BIG DEAL - - - I've been around this block before Olivia arched one single slender brow, he did realize the difference in her. Hmmm.. Maybe he had paid more attention to her than she realized back then, the thought made her want to purr. Her maker then complimented her and she only smiled wider, though she had shown no teeth in this. Her hazel eyes kept floating around his body, trying to come up with any difference in him, even his tone and personality was the same. Not knowing whether to be impressed or scared, Olivia just blinked her eyelashes for him a few times before listening to what else he had say, trying to ignore the sudden fire burning within her. She needed to eat, that or fuck something... She couldn't tell.
With another sweet smile, Olivia was mentally agreeing what her maker had said about it being nice to see him. Sure, prior to bumping into him, Olivia hoped she would never see Victor again. He caused her too much ache. Right now, she was aching, but not in a heartsick way. She picked up on what he was saying about the business and a look of concern crossed over those hazel eyes... the first in a long time. His gaze froze her in place and she had no choice but to stare right back at him, her head angled upward slightly because of his height against hers. She shifted her weight slightly, running her hand down the exposed part of her thigh before she spoke. "I'm acting working for a branch that ultimately leads to your sister. I file and process the applications and paperwork that humans mess up." She said with a rather large smile. Her pearly white teeth were striking against her red lipstick. The young vampire didn't want to get too in-depth about his business. Victor already seemed stressed for some reason, though he tried to hide it, Olivia picked up on some sort of emotion that caused her to fidget slightly in place. Finally pulling her eyes away from the monster she found comfort in, she looked toward the direction of the club.
Confidently she flipped her curls over her shoulder and looked her creator in the eyes, a devilish look started to cloud over. "I would love to talk more, but I haven't fed recently..." She hesitated for a moment, pulling her innocent girl demeanor for a moment to see how he'd react. "There is never anything tasty in a parking garage anyway." She purred slightly. "Come with me..." She gave him a big smile and took his hand like a child, slowly pulling him. "We cane catch up, and I can feed before I go insane." The pretty little Italian batted her eyelashes once more. She didn't know if her charms worked on just humans, but surely she could convince Victor to spend a little bit of time with her before he went running back to Emily. Just thinking about the name made her shutter, the Vampire wasn't normally violent toward her own kind... but she wanted that bitch dead. Pushing the thought away, she looked toward Victor and flashed him a pretty smile again.....
